Fast Fashion is Out, Responsible Fashion is In

With 2020 coming to a close, our team has been reflecting on the past year. From a global pandemic and bushfires across our homeland of Australia to the wackiest presidential election of all time. 2020 has been one for the books. But here at IIXIIST, we've used this tumultuous year to rethink our companies environmental and social impact. Once fast fashion, now responsible, uncompromised and ethical designs and production, IIXIIST is proudly leading the way in sustainable swimwear. So, here's the good of 2020, our silver lining: recycled materials, responsible quantities, and swimwear manufactured with love. 

Recycle 

Every IIXIIST bikini is thoughtfully designed and produced without any excess or wasteful materials. Earlier this year, we revisited our supply chain to ensure every aspect of IIXIIST was considered, from concept to design and delivery. As a result, our latest collections are inspired by mother earth, using 100% ocean waste Lycras and environmentally safe dyes. The new IIXIIST means no shortcuts or fast-fashion; we made this change for the future of our environment.

Responsible 

We said goodbye to excess and bulk buying and hello to responsible production. Now made to meet the demand of our customers, not the other way around, IIXIIST has moved away from fast-fashion. It indeed does start from the ground up. We've done the hard work to combat our eco-footprint and produce quality bikinis that will last endless summers. 

Ethical 

Designed with love, IIXIIST is ethically manufactured with no child-labour. Our creative director, Rebecca Klodinsky, has been determined since day dot to produce IIXIIST with kind working conditions. Her mission is simple, to work towards a world free of child labour.  

While our production methods may have changed, IIXIIST's quality has only improved. Our standards are higher than ever, and our swimwear is better than ever. Change doesn't happen overnight, but rest assure, we'll continue to audit our manufacturing process until IIXIIST is 100% sustainable. When you shop, you have the choice to support selfish throwaway culture, or you can support sustainability.
